Juventus keep winning: a 2-0 away success against Frosinone. Aiming at 6th league triumph in a row, at home to Bologna. Douglas Costa still banned. Spinazzola, De Sciglio and Khedira should be out. Barzagli returns. Kean also absent.
Even though they held the ball control and the initiative of the play, Juventus were far too slow and predictable during the first half against Frosinone on the road. Not too surprisingly, they failed to score any goals, despite creating some dangers. Things changed after the break as they increased their aggressiveness but they only managed to score twice just before the end.
When he came on in the second half, Bernardeschi was very lively and he also proved capable of making the difference, also scoring the second goal for his side. Ronaldo created some dangers and scored the first goal of the match but sometimes looked without energies. Bentancur played very badly and he had to be replaced in the second half.
Juventus have won all the games played so far and they will aim at continuing their march at the top in occasion of the home clash against Bologna.
The longtime injured Spinazzola will still be missing out such as De Sciglio and Khedira. Barzagli has been dealing with a muscular problem but he recovered in time to make the 19-man squad. Kean was not selected.
Douglas Costa will be serving the second of a 4-game ban.
Perin should be debuting in the goal while Alex Sandro could end up on the bench. Can is contending with Pjanic for a place in the middle of the park.
As an alternative, Allegri could opt for a back three with Barzagli among the starters.
