Exiles see off Mansfield Town on penalties to reach Wembley; no new injury concerns; Nick Townsend sidelined.
Newport County beat Mansfield Town 5-3 in a penalty shoot-out in the second leg of their play-off semi-final at Field Mill.
The tie had ended goal-less after extra time and finished 1-1 on aggregate. The Exiles are now unbeaten in a dozen games.
Manager Michael Flynn made one change to his starting line-up with Joss Labadie returning from a gashed ankle.
He was preferred to Matty Dolan, who dropped to the bench. Will Randall was preferred to loanee Tyreeq Bakinson on the bench.
Flynn has no new injury concerns and is likely to stick with the same side after such a strong performance at Mansfield.
Nick Townsend (bicep) isn't expected to be fit until next season otherwise the Exiles have a full squad.
The two sides have met just four times previously, with three draws and a Newport win at Prenton Park in September last year. There have been just three goals scored in those four meetings.
