In Brief

Hull earn draw with Middlesbrough. Jordy de Wijs, Ondrej Mazuch, James Weir, Dan Batty and Evandro all injured.

Looking Back

Hull claimed a creditable point at home to promotion-chasing Middlesbrough on Saturday, a penalty from Jarrod Bowen proving the equaliser, his third goal in four games.

The Tigers have still not won in the last three games but will have been boosted by the Boro point. They are in a very bad position in the league sitting 21st, just two points above the drop zone.

Looking Ahead

Jordy de Wijs, who went off with an ankle problem on Saturday, has been ruled out of this game while Ondrej Mazuch, James Weir, Dan Batty and Evandro are all still missing.

Kamil Grosicki made his first start of the campaign at the weekend and will look to keep his place. Striker Chris Martin could play again after winning the penalty on Saturday. Martin is still awaiting his first goal for his new club.

Points of Interest

Hull have just one win, one draw and three defeats at home soil this season.

Leeds United

In Brief

Leeds claim Wednesday point. Izzy Brown, Patrick Bamford, Gaetano Berardi, Pablo Hernandez and Kemar Roofe injured.

Looking Back

Leeds claimed a point at Sheffield Wednesday on Friday. They were down at half-time but levelled thanks to a fine Mat Klich goal. They arguably should have won it too as they wasted a host of chances.

Their form has been sketchy since injuries to Pablo Hernandez and Kemar Roofe, winning only one in five matches. Boss Marcelo Bielsa will feel their standards have dropped and will be determined to get them back quickly.

Looking Ahead

Leeds are again without Roofe and Hernandez along with Izzy Brown, Patrick Bamford and Gaetano Berardi. No new concerns have been reported.

Bielsa has played a settled side over the last few weeks and should be unchanged again.

Points of Interest

Leeds are still unbeaten away with two wins and three draws this season. Leeds drew 0-0 at Hull last season and won 1-0 at home.
