Doncaster had the better of things in their league finale against Coventry and beat the Sky Blues 2:0 to edge out Peterborough in the race for the sixth place.
Grant McCann's men have played outstanding football on occasions but have slowed down in the late stages of the season, which is why they needed to wait until the final round to secure a play-off place.
Joe Wright and Ian Lawlor have been struggling with injuries for a couple of months each, but are both back in full training and will be available.
