Sion have really needed the international break, as it came during a major slump they've had... Match to be played in Geneva... Full squad available...Sion have opened their season with a string of bad results, and it seemed as the ambitious president Constantin has finally fulfilled his promise and got the club the right players to find for the title, but such expectations were quickly undone once a harder set of fixtures came, as the Sitteners have fallen to defeat against the "big boys", with the 3:2 away defeat at Basel and a 5:0 home humiliation against Zurich proving that Sion are yet to grow to be able to challenge for the title - although the mediocre performance at Luzern has shown that Sion were way below their best when the international break started, and the period without action could've only done them good. Not many changes to be usual playing style are to be made against Galatasaray, as manager Bigon is a fan of cautious football - and will most likely field his trademark 4-5-1 against the Turkish giants, who Sion are to host in Geneva in a most likely one-third-empty stadium, as their ground doesn't match of all UEFA's requirements. With a full squad to choose from, Bigon will most likely go for a formation with two defensive midfielders, meaning that the classy Beto(k) and captain Wicky(r) will be trusted to hold off the Turkish attacking threat, while summer signing Dominguez(r) as well as Obradovic(r) would be required to pull the strings in the middle. Ahead of them, only one attacking midfielder will be fielded, with Reset(r) and Paito(r) being in contention for this spot. There's also a question mark about who to field in attack, as Zaki(sp) has been preferred over Saborio(r) over the last few matches, but the Costa Rican's predatory instinct might make Bigon give him a start against the Turks, as the manager has admitted that his players "know that they won't get too many scoring chances against Galatasaray".
