Zorya lost first 3 games in group, but then went on to beat ten-man AEK 3:0 away last Thursday and slim chances of progression remaining alive. Before start of campaign goal was to record 1 win in this tough group and with this already done pressure on players won’t be huge.

Team had COVID issues in recent weeks and as of last weekend still 3 players battling virus.

Looking Ahead

Coach Skripnik with serious issues in defence where he’s likely to be forced to use 2 players out of position. Best centre-back Vernydub is suspended, while left-back Leovigildo still waits for work visa and is yet to feature since signing for club.
