Doncaster moved back into the League One play-off places with a comprehensive 4:1 win over Bristol Rovers. A brace by James Coppinger allowed the hosts to be two goals up with only twelve minutes on the clock and there were rarely doubts about the final outcome after that.
The deadlock was broken only three minutes in and visiting keeper Jack Bonham was to blame, having allowed Coppinger's weak effort to squirm under him.
The veteran midfielder grabbed his second with twelve minutes on the clock, when he fired home from 20 yards out.
Doncaster remained firmly on top and made it three through Mallik Wilks, who fired home from inside the area.
Any hopes that the visitors might have had were ended by Kieran Sadlier, who scored with a stunning finish just after the break.
The visitors got on the score sheet when Jonson Clarke-Harris converted a penalty midway through the second half but the outcome of the game was long decided by then.
A commanding display by the Rovers, who made a mockery of their recent struggles with this performance. They remain in a tight race for the final play-off spot. On the other side, the Gas have been in excellent form going into this game, but can have no complaints, having been beaten by a better side.
