Fulham were held to a 1-1 draw at Cardiff despite dominating much of the match, in the end paying for Harry Arter's sending off on his return to his former club. Josh Murphy have Cardiff the lead before Aleksandar Mitrovic levelled by scoring in his fifth game running. Arter was then dismissed in the second half when Fulham were on top.
There was no surprises in either side's starting eleven.
Mitrovic was again impressive for Fulham who took the game to Cardiff from the off. However Cardiff broke the deadlock with a superb counter attack as Murphy scored.
But Mitrovic got his goal shortly afterwards as he tapped in from Ivan Cavaleiro's cross. Mitrovic is in wonderful scoring form as he continues to enjoy life at Craven Cottage.
Fulham started the second half well and had around 75% of possession when Arter was sent off for a second booking in the space of three minutes, for diving.
Cardiff could not capitalise on their man advantage but the sending off halted Fulham's dominance as neither side could find a winner.
Fulham will be delighted with Mitrovic's form but upset they did not win this with the sending off really having a major bearing on the result. Cardiff are again looking far from a side who can challenge for promotion back to the top flight at this stage.
