Their toughest season in recent history still ended with Bayern Munchen lifting the Bundesliga title for a record 11th straight season thanks to a last gasp winner on the final day that saw them clinch the title on goal difference. Despite the trophy, it was a poor season overall for Bayern who sacked Julian Nagelsmann and brought in Thomas Tuchel for the final two months. Bayern struggled to cope with Lewandowski's departure last season but have addressed the problem by splashing big in the transfer window, bringing in Harry Kane on a club record transfer fee. Errors in the defense was another area of concern for Bayern and they have signed Kim Min-Jae from Napoli, leaving Upamecano and de Ligt fighting for the other spot in the defense. Konrad Laimer's arrival on a free transfer provides a strong option in the midfield while Raphael Guerreiro has also been signed on free to provide competition for Davies at left back. Bayern have funded their heavy spending by cutting their losses on Lucas Hernández and Sadio Mane, both of whom have left for France and Saudi Arabia respectively. Yann Sommer's departure though leaves Bayern with lack of options in the goal, especially with Neuer still injured and the club are reported to be still in the market for a new keeper. Bayern decided not to take up the buy option for Joao Cancelo while Blind and Sabitzer have also left the club. Bayern have finally filled the holes in the squad from last season and the club are clear favorites to dominate domestically once again though their big spending means the fans will also be expecting a strong run in Europe

Target

Lifting the league title with a comfortable margin with be the minimum expectation for Bayern who will also be aiming for strong runs in the cup competitions.
