It would ultimately be a season of disappointment for Hull City last term as boss Liam Rosenior couldn’t lead them to the play-offs, subsequently ending in his removal. The Tigers had a strong squad, and their failure to not at least achieve a sixth-placed finish wasn't good enough. Now, Tim Walter will take charge as he looks to guide Hull back to the top-flight. There have been some key departures over the summer, however, as the likes of Jacob Greaves and Jaden Philogene both left the club in big money sales. The losses of Ozan Tufan and Fabio Carvalho will shake things up, too, while squad players such as Adama Traore, Greg Docherty, Billy Sharp, Aaron Connolly and Cyrus Christie have all departed as well. That signals a lot of change in the Hull camp for the new season. In their place comes Ryan Giles, Cody Drameh and Marvin Mehlem, while Oscar Estupinan and Dogukan Sinik will look to fight for roles after returning from loan spells. The squad is now looking a lot thinner for the Tigers, and nowhere near as strong as last term. The hope is more arrivals will come soon, but for the meantime, it looks set to be a challenging campaign for Hull. However, there is plenty of money in the bank for investment following the sales.

Target

Hope to sit around mid-table until the squad improves. If signings arrive, they will be expected to push for the play-offs.
