When the last season was over, Antalya were looking safe in the midtable but the truth was different. They have managed to survive with the points that they have collected in the 1st period of the season. In the last 15 fixtures, they have enjoyed only 4 victories. Some fans believe that it is the side effect of transfer ban. Since none of that squad could oversee the future, they failed to concentrate. Considering this negative mood, it was pretty successful to bring Alex de Souza in as the coach. The board have managed to solve it this summer but it was a little bit late as they have failed to add what they generally aimed at so far. First of all, there is no originaly attacker in the team ahead of the new season. They failed to fill the role of 16-goal top scorer Buksa. They have added Moussa Djenepo on loan. He could not train with the team for less than one month. Samudio was also added in the last week. So, the duo did not spend enough time with the team yet. So, they are absolutely too short in offence zone. Thalisson was signed in as the partner of 36-year-old Sari. At the moment, there is Ozturk and two inexperienced center backs at the moment as replacement. Balci and Kaluzinski are whispered in the summer transfer market a lot. The duo are likely to leave the team soon. Considering the current season, a tough season awaits them.

Target

Anywhere far from the relegation zone should be a huge success for them. In order to reach to it, the cup should be ignored.
