The season hasn't turned out as Falkenbergs would hope. They ended up in the last place of the league and, as a consequence, Superettan is waiting for them next season.
As the club manager said, there were 15 teams better than Falkenberg this season. It seemed that the team didn't have the needed quality to get especially points on the road as they won only once in 15 matches this seson. Of course they should be praised as they reached the final matchday and they were still having chances to avoid -at least- immediate relegation.
Edi Sylisufaj with 7 goals in 25 appearances was the most promising player of the team and he is only 21 years old.
Despite that they started their campaign with a win and a draw, Falkenbergs were constantly in the last places of the league table throughout the season so it wasn't a surprise that they were relegated at the end in Superettan.
They have of course the needed quality to play well in Superettan and as they kept the same coach (Eklund) who has a huge experience in this division, it seems that they will be the great favourite to return in Allsvenskan next season.
