Malmo won their 21st Allsvenskan title and the first one after 2017. It was a well deserved title as they were the most consistent team throughout the season and especially after July.
At the end they won the title with 60 points, meaning an average of 2 points per game, and that's only the penultimate record of points per game for a title winner for the recent 12 years in Sweden, showing again how strange this season was.
Malmo relied on their attacking performance as they had the best scoring performance of the league with 64 goals scored with two players scoring more than 13 goals each (Thelin 14 goals and Anders Christiansen 13).
They had also the second best defensive efficiency as they have conceded 30 goals while Hacken had conceded one less.
Anders Christiansen with 13 goals and 3 assists was a key player for the team, but he had of course plenty of help from other players like Thelin, Toivonen and Rieks.
It was a very good season for Malmo and they achieved their target to win the title, heading to the Champions League Qualifiers.
