The team survived via the promotion/relegation playoffs. After a slow start to the season, a change of manager initially saw improvements but the team struggled when Cesinha (k att) was injured and fell into the bottom 3. Even in the playoffs they were somewhat fortunate to survive after trailing 3-0 in the first leg at one point and did need extra time in the 2nd leg even with a man advantage. The team debated changing manager and also goalkeeper but both attempts failed and they are rolling pretty much with the same team as last year with a few decent additions with the return of Lamas (k mid) a particularly exciting one. A season of struggles could be the outlook again with a small squad and particularly weak in depth at centre back. While the manager will be under pressure early on if results don't go their way. Lamas' (k) return will lighten the burden on talisman Cesinha but they still will rely on one of the best players in the league even in his twlight years. The spine of the team is good with Caio and Yoshino very good additions last season Squad size is their main issue with the defence an area that will be a concern if any of the starters get injured. Any injury to Cesinha, and he has been injury prone in recent years, will deeply affect their attack as they rely on their talented Brazilian.

Target

Top half finish will be their ambitious aim but avoiding relegation (6-9th) is priority
