Rollercoaster of a season with long losing streaks at home and equally impressive unbeaten runs. Ultimately limped over the finish line to get ACLE football (most likely). New manager Kim Ki-dong took a while to settle on his preferred lineup and two signings in the mid-season winter were integral in turning their season around. Striker hunt has been pretty disastrous with the team still yet to find their man. This after letting Iljutchenko (k -att) go, who got 14 goals last season with 2nd top scorer only on 6. Arrival of Seung-won Jeong is a great addition but the lack of a striker is alarming. Should be able to build on last season and should be up there in contention for things but the signing of a striker is crucial and if they hit the ground running a possible title challenge is realistic. Very solid shape to the team with an excellent backline and were able to hold onto leads well last season. Jesse Lingard's leadership, experience and quality was a highlight of last season and he should get even better this season. Scored the most from set pieces with Lingard key in this. Relying on Iljutchenko for goals last season and now needing to make up for his absence is a major concern. Outscored their Xg by over 10 last season so attack is the concern

Target

Title challenge and qualification for the knockout of ACLE 2025/26 in August onwards
