Football Season Review

It was a disappointing season for DC United as they didn't reach the playoffs and moreover they have a very important offseason ahead in order for them to create a team that can improve next year and get better results. It is even difficult to find out someone who excelled this season for DC United, having of course the excuse that the season was already strange due to the pandemic. Ola Kamara with 4 goals was the best player on the pitch for DC United. The team managed to win in only 5 out of 23 matches played this season and their defensive structure was very weak in most of their games having the second worse defensive record as they conceded 41 goals in 23 matches. Federico Higuain was added to the team but he didn't have the time to become a main contributor as he scored only twice in the 10 matches that he played. Griffin Yow born in 2002 is a player we need to monitor the upcoming season as, despite his age, he showed a lot of quality scoring 2 goals in 12 matches played (4 of them as a starter). DC United has a critical offseason ahead but, hopefully for them, their 2020 season was not good at all so they have much more chances to be better next year.
