Football Season Review

Sounders have proved to everyone that they are a top-tier team by playing for the 4th time in 5 years in a MLS Cup Final match. They were defeated this time by 3-0 as Columbus performed much better in the final, and they are now in a 2 wins - 2 losses record in finals. Raul Ruidiaz was the top goalscorer of the team with 12 goals scored this season, but also players like Lodeiro, Morris, Torres and Roldan were exceptional throughout the season. The most memorable match of this season will be for sure the Western Conference Final against Minnesota in which they were trailing by 0-2 till 75th minute and 1-2 just before entering the injury time, and they succeded to score twice and got the qualification to the final in an unexpected way. The team is already ready to compete in high level next season and, as Lodeiro will remain to the club for two more years, there will be few additions to the team in order to reach for one more time the final and this time to lift again the trophy.
