Football Season Review

№19: Huddersfield Town

Huddersfield can overall be pleased with a season where they have once again achieved their main aim: to stay in the Championship. It has not been an easy ride with Chris Powell harshly dismissed and David Wagner enjoying a baptism of fire when he first came in. Slowly but surely the German has worked his own style on the club, which has included a change in system. It was showing signs of working towards the end of the season but you get the impression this promises to be a big summer for the Terriers in terms of bringing in players. Nahki Wells' goals were a main reason they comfortably stayed up and he will be very pleased to have found the net 18 times. But 70 goals were conceded this season to give Wagner a clear idea of the problem that he needs to sort with great urgency over the summer months.
