Despite their strong forward actions in 2024 Bromma finished only 10th and only 3 points above the bottom 3. Nikola Vasic won the Allsvenskan Golden Boot with his 17 goals and it was largely thanks to him that survival was made possible. Vasic is now 33-years-old though so it is not certain for how long he could carry the main load of the attack on his shoulders. The big weakness from last year was the defence. Only 2 teams conceded more than Bromma’s 53 goals in 2024. Unhappy with this the Board opted to change managers this winter. A risky move considering that the job was given to Bromma’s U19 manager Ulf Kristiansson. His past experience as a head coach is mainly with women’s teams so it is yet to be seen how he will do. The main thing Kristiansson did this winter was to trim the large-to-manage squad. Alexander Jensen and Ludvig Fritzson were the only important players to leave. Signed Victor Lund to start instead of the former. Bromma also made bold moves to address their defensive issues. The new goalie Blazevic should become a regular. Also, vastly experienced defenders Hovland and Zanden bring hope that the record at the back will be much better in 2025. Wilmer Odefalk and Alex Timossi Andersson are expected to become indispensable players in the new rotation. Both fit nicely in the philosophy of the new manager of playing with high tempo and forcing the issue down the flanks.

Target

Have high ambitions. Target a top 6 finish. Should make the top 10 no matter what.
