Vitória had a good year in 2024. They won the Campeonato Baiano and since the arrival of manager Thiago Carpini, they have done well in the league, finishing 11th and achieving their goal of remaining in the top-flight without any drama. 'Leão' has made many changes to the squad for 2025. Top scorer in last year's Brasileirão Alerrando left after the end of his loan. The defensive core also saw the losses of team captain Wagner Leonardo and Lucas Esteves. Eleven more players left, including Jean Mota, Willean Lepo, Filipe Machado and Patric Calmon.
