Sjors Ultee has been tasked with leading TOP Oss this season following an underwhelming campaign last term under Ruud Brood. Oss finished in 18th-place and were far from ever being in play-off contention. Arthur Allemeersch was one of the few strong points for Oss last term as he provided nine goal contributions in the league. He was the team’s leading goalscorer, too, with six. Konstantinos Doumtsios scored six himself but he has left the club to join VVV-Venlo. A major loss will be felt at the back as Roshon van Eijma has joined RKC Waalwijk. The only real replacement brought in for him thus far has been Jules van Bost from OH Leuven. However, Thomas Cox may see more regular game time after completing a full move from NEC Nijmegen. Midfield options have been boosted by the arrivals of Mitchell van Rooijen, Marcelencio Esajas and Julian Kuijpers. The hope is that this will make up for the losses of Thijs van Leeuwen, Rick Dekker, Grad Damen and Joshua Eijgenraam. Goals were a major issue for Oss last term as they scored just 32 in total (joint-lowest in the division). Mart Remans will look to rediscover his best form after his arrival from MVV Maastricht, while Tijmen Wildeboer could see some minutes up top. Still, the attacking options look quite thin overall.

Target

Improve upon a bottom-three finish and move up towards mid-table.
