Telstar finished last season with a feeling of positivity and being on the right path after a strong run in the spring after the arrival of Anthony Correia as a new manager. He lifted morale and made the team believe more and now the aim is to build on this initial positive impact and make this Telstar side a more serious competitor. The transfer strategy for one of the league's smallest clubs is no different than usual as they have targeted some hidden gems from the amateur divisions and will hope that one or two of their bets pay off and they establish themselves as being good enough to play at this level or above. It is hard to judge any of the new seven signings as they all come from unknown settings and it anyone's guess how they will settle into the new league and the demands. In terms of departures, defensive duo Thomas Oude Kotte and Jay Kruiver are off to one of last season's best teams in Roda. Alex Plat and Christos Giousis are also pretty notable departures but this is something that the White Lions are used to overall. They did keep hold of a good striker in Zakaria Eddahchouri for now while at the back Danny Bakker and Mitch Apau have the experience and ruddedness to make this team a bit harder to break down. It is hard to expect much from Telstar as a whole but if Correia keeps up the good work from last season this team has the potential to make the upper half of the standings.

Target

Be in and around the mid-table places despite limited budget and try to unearth some raw diamonds from their new signings.
