Jan Vreman helped De Graafschap into the play-offs last season, but they couldn’t secure promotion after losing to ADO Den Haag in the first round. This time around, Vreman will look to go one better and get De Graafschap into Eredivisie. He will have to do so without one of last term’s key players in Basar Onal, though, as he has left to join NEC Nijmegen. Fellow attacking talent Devin Haen has also departed to join Feyenoord. Further options up top have been limited with David Bosilj returning to Hellas Verona following his loan. However, there have been a few additions going forward to help offset those departures. Ibrahim El Kadiri, Jesse van de Haar and Yannick Eduardo have all joined the club over the summer, which should help provide a big boost. Meanwhile, with goalkeepers Mees Bakker, Thijs Jansen, Edwin Danquah all leaving, too, the arrival of Sten Kremers will prove to be vital. Ties Wieggers is currently the only other ‘keeper in the squad. More signings will be needed in this De Graafschap side if they are to reach the play-offs once more as they are also looking a little thin at the back after losing Xandro Schenk and Jan Lammers as well.

Target

Hope that the new attacking signings hit the ground running and get into the play-offs again.
